Albert, the vegetarian adder along with his friends, a tortoise, a flightless (hippie) blackbird a mole and a snob, decided to hitchhike the 25 miles back to their home, the meadow. On their way they found themselves caught up in a protest march, then a riot, were arrested by the police for rioting, escaped in a stolen police van, and were re-arrested. And that was just the beginning.
